Randall, Frank Otis
Seeking information and or photo of Frank Otis Randall, principal and possibly superintendent of Central school in Flathead county, Kalispell city. Listed in the 1924 Yearbook. 6/28/2015
Response:
I am currently indexing the 1924 newspapers and will watch for the name. The Museum at Central School may be able to help you if he was a principal at that school. A Frank Otis Randall is listed as being buried in Conrad Cemetery on Findagrave. We hope this helps.
Roussell,
I am researching the Roussell family, aka Rousell, Rousselle, and Rouselle. The family was from Quebec and they settled in the area as far back as 1892 - two brothers (casimir and Gabrial).
Response:
There is a Gabe Roussell listed on the genweb site under births. and a Harry Roussell under marriages. The name seems to be in the area and I have sent your request on to one of our best researchers.

Walter, James S Sr
I have searched the records at familysearch.org- probate, Flathead county for 1910 (from Oct to Dec) and did not find the record for James S. Walter, Sr. The newspaper clipping that is reproduced on your site of the Administrator's sale is dated 5 Nov. 1910. The clipping gives a date of 27 Oct., 1910. Should I be looking under another date than the ones given above?
Response:
I would like to apologize for the late response to your query concerning how to search for the probate files related to James S Walter, Sr.
There has been a problem with receiving the notifications in the query page, and although I checked for queries, I was unable to find them. I thought they would be forwarded to my email account, however obviously that didn't happen. Weebly recently changed their interface and all of the queries popped up- much to my embarrassment.
If you haven't already found it, the newspaper clippings are published by date and would run several times- sometimes over a 3 month period. We don't have all the newspapers anymore to see how long this clipping ran. The probate itself might draw out as long as a year and in some cases, if it was complicated, a couple of years afterward. I would check the next several months to see if it finally closed. The closing date would be the date that it was filed in the court. Best of luck finding the record.

Is there a chance that you have a cemetery book that might list where he is buried?
He was a WWI veteran as well, so I am wondering if there is anyone I could contact with that regard?
Is there a local organization who puts flags on the military graves?
Getting a copy of the death certificate MIGHT give the information if all else fails.
Are there several different undertaker locations or is there just one? If you know, I could contact them.
Appreciate any help.
Response:
I have forwarded your request to one of our research associates. I did a preliminary search of our cemeteries and he doesn't show up on anything I have. Morey will contact you, and will probably be willing to go to the county court house and pull the death certificate for you. or at least look at it.
There are two mortuaries in town.... Johnson- Gloshat. They are happy to do look ups for you. They have some of the older records also, but I don't think that would apply. you will need to call them on the phone. (406) 752-2832 They don't give the information out over the internet.
The other one is buffalo Hills- (406) 752-0336. I do not know their lookup policy
We do have an American Legion here that puts flags on graves.
I hope this helps. Please let me know how you do

Wow! This is incredible service. Thank you so much for answering all my questions so thoroughly! And I've already heard from Morey with a copy of the death certificate.
I want to send a donation and I I will post the information on find a grave. I am in touch with a granddaughter of his who will be thrilled to see this. I am in possession of postcards he wrote to her sister while in the military. So exciting to know where he is buri d.
